Crux33 is the youth ministry of Crossline Community Church.
It serves students grade 6-12.
What does Crux33 mean?
The name Crux33 comes from the synchronizing of two things:
crux (krks) n. pl. crux·es or cru·ces (krsz)
1. The basic, central, or critical point or feature “the crux of the matter”
2. A puzzling or apparently insoluble problem
33 comes from colossians 3:3
For you died when Christ died, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.
The meaning of Crux33 is found within both of these ideas. We want every student to know that there is no better life than a life that is hidden in Christ. The crux of living is actually making Jesus the reason for it all…that is when real life actually begins!
We have a vision to see a group of students and leaders focused on being like Jesus personally, sharing His good news contagiously and living out real life totally.
Our mission is to live life alongside students, leading them to discover and realize the life they were designed to live, all to the glory of God.
