What are we Doing?
On November 12-14, 2010 Crux33 Middle School and High School are partnering together with Center For Student Missions (CSM) to impact the world for Jesus Christ in downtown Los Angeles. We will spend the weekend advancing through the city, serving those in need, and seeing our urban backyard through Jesus’ eyes and His love.
How do I go? (READ CAREFULLY)
1) Pray about your involvement in going to LA on a missions trip
2) Fill out the LA Missions Trip Application and submit to us by October 1st
3) Because spots are limited and this is a missions trip, only a smaller number of students will be able to attend. After your application has been reviewed you will be notified by Crux33 regarding your application. If you are given the green light by , you may then proceed to sign up online and pay the deposit of $75.
4) After signing up online, you will need to attend a mandatory training meeting with a parent. There are two meetings times, but you only need to attend one: October 31st OR November 7th from 10:30-11am in the Fellowship Center. Prior to this meeting you may pay your balance of $75 or you may bring your payment to the meeting.
5) Continue praying over the trip and asking the Lord for a heart of a humble, flexible servant, all the while daily staying in the Word.
6) Pack appropriately!
Safety Details:
We will be staying at the CSM building that is gated and secure. We will always be accompanied and led by CSM’s staff.
Cost:
The total cost for this trip is $150. The first step is to fill out the application (due October 1st). Upon consideration of your application we will send you the registration link. A $75 non-refundable deposit will be due when you register! The $75 balance will be due at the training meeting.
Things to Bring:
Students will need to bring comfortable clothes, closed toed shoes, nice clothes for church, sleeping bag, Bible, journal, Crossline Release Form, and $15-20 spending money. iPods are to be left at home.
Departure/Arrival:
Leave: 2:30 pm from Crossline Church
Return: 3:00 (approx) at Crossline Church
